IDeAL HeadquartersItalian Design & Arts Lab in Le Murate Art District

Concept Statement
Create a multi functional space that is the hub of all things Italian design. The building will house everyday functions, and have the adaptability to morph into exhibition and workshop spaces where the community can come together and experience the world of art and design together. The preservation of most of the
existing materials will be supplemented by the addition of clean and fresh finishes that will captivate the users. This project also involves the reconfiguration of the current cafe to accommodate both the existing functions as a cafe and community space. The cafe additionally will now have the function of being able to use it for lectures or events, and the kitchen will be able to provide catering for all IDeAL events.
